As I clicked away from a page I noticed an ad that interested me, but I'd already left that page. How can I get back to the ad? It changes every time the screen refreshes.

I don't think you can get back to the ad.
Perhaps a list of advertisers would be useful. Sometimes I want to link to a company I know has an advert on Mumsnet, so it would sometimes be handy to link using the code as if their advert was clicked - so Mumsnet gets the credit. Not sure if MNHQ Tech could create a list of advertisers. Not sure how often such a list would be useful... probably not that often, so the time spent creating/updating the list may be a waste.

MNHQ - is creating a list of advertisers with clickable links (so as if the advert had been clicked) possible?

prettycandles can you remember what the interesting ad was? we heart people who click on our ads!

NannyNick, that is a good idea, but I"m not sure how easy it'd be. I"ll put it to the cookiemonster powers that be.

It was something about furniture for children.

I should have thought it would be feasible to create a rolling list of advertisers using the same database that you must use to track your live and forthcoming advertisers. (Tracking and harassing live and forthcoming advertisers used to be my job. )

PrettyCandles - was it The Children's Furniture Company by any chance?

PrettyCandles · 07/07/2009 22:31

That's it, thanks!

the prices!

They didn't have what I wanted, anyway. I think I'll start a Products thread...

I saw that ad a few nights ago but had clicked off the page before I could click the ad. TWO HOURS later it still hadn't come up again. Perhaps they paid a lot less than the other advertisers?

MNHQ, perhaps you could beg them for a bigger discount for us poor MNetters?! I have saved that site to my favourites but it'll be just to look at and sigh as I can't afford any of it!

Did you enter the competition, though Butterball? You could win a free bed!
