I notice that Taylor & Emmett Solicitors kindly offer a 10%discount to MNers preparing a Will, but its 15% on MO!

Hula, please dont get upset or angry. Some of us are completely on you side and being at the messy end of shit stirrers I hate the low lifes. Just before I read this thread I looked at your profile and your dds pictures. Sod the lot of them. What do they matter.

emmatmg · 16/05/2005 20:08

I'm fed up with it all too, Hula.

And I can really see why you're p'eed off now.

101StressPuppy · 16/05/2005 20:08

Hulababy - I havent contributed to any of these thread (I don't think) but just wantd to add that I had no idea it was your dh so there is a chance that others don't either.

Thomcat · 16/05/2005 20:08

Well I wasn't aware of this till this thread. If it was one person stirring please keep in mind it was 1 or 2 people only.
Also perhaps now they know whyMN are offer ing less discount than MO they think differently anyway, but if not don't let it bother you. A discount is a discount and your DH is getting business out of it so there's something to smile about.
Don't let it wind you up mate, it's not worth it.

sunchowder · 16/05/2005 20:09

So Sorry Hulababy

LGJ · 16/05/2005 20:10

Hula

The initial post was light hearted, it was not a case of ............Well I never, the first post was light, as were the answers..........I know who MO are, call it a little bit of levity at the end of a Monday.

I for one was delighted to see a thread that could descend into silliness. I had a really bad day today, my good friend at work,( we argue all the time, but love to argue IYKWIM) had a massive heart attack at the weekend, he is only 46 he is still with us, but will be off for 3 months .

Speak to MNet towers if you feel the need, but close and careful analysis of the thread to date, suggest that there is nothing to be offended about.

This is out of character for you, are you OK ??

Chandra · 16/05/2005 20:12

I wouldn't take it personally Hulababy, every information in the web is subject to be interpreted in as many forms as people are different. And is expectable that any info/offer that becomes public will be liked by some and disliked by others. It's just part of trading...

LGJ · 16/05/2005 20:13

BTW

I didn't know it was your hub.

Hulababy · 16/05/2005 20:13

Thanks guys

I am just feeling somewhat fed up. I have so much stress recently, and just as things are sorting themselves out - all this doesn't help.

As I say, it may be an innocent query - who knows. Just seems to big a coincidence right now.

You are right - in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter. Just I used to enjoy viditng MN and chatting. Just recently it had been soured, and the enjoyment is waning so much. Might be time to just stick to my TTC group, and just a few non-chat type threads.

ANd - DH doesn't make any more moeny out of this then any other client. It is just an opportunity for him and for MN, that's all. Both benefit, as do those MNetters who have and who may use his services. And he is a darn good solicotor from what I gather!

Still, suppose this thread is getting him some freebie advertising now. LOL!

Louise1980 · 16/05/2005 20:14

Pleased you are cheering up a bit!

Hulababy · 16/05/2005 20:15

LGJ - sorry about your news; tragic.

I would love a bit of light hearted fun back on MN - but maybe not at my own and DH's expense please.

tamum · 16/05/2005 20:15

I certainly wouldn't have known it was your dh Hulababy. I think it was a lighthearted post originally, and presumably everyone benefits from the arrangements.

Munchkinola · 16/05/2005 20:16

Can we think of anything else thats extremely delicate that we could turn this thread into?

Out of ideas at the mo but we seem to need some light heartedness.....

Hulababy · 16/05/2005 20:16

Thanks Louise. I am just trying to get back to the original unstressed Hula right now. Ths week on MN is challenging that has to be said.

I want the bars back, the fun chat. Lurking on the rude threads and giggling (but not brave enough to post!),...

hHopefully all this nonsense is just a glitch and we'll be back on form soom

beansprout · 16/05/2005 20:17

Hula - am so sorry, was just being flippant in the light of the other threads. Had no idea it was your DH.

LGJ - sorry to hear your news. I wish your friend well.

Louise1980 · 16/05/2005 20:17

Is there anyway we can get rid of this thread and stop this getting any further? Least said soonest mended and all that? Hula was obviously upset by it so i think it should be stopped.

SaintGeorge · 16/05/2005 20:20

How about a cake Hula, will that make you smile? I've done 2 birthday cakes today but I can just about fit a special one in for you

Hulababy · 16/05/2005 20:22

Fab cake! I want one. LOL!!!!

SaintGeorge · 16/05/2005 20:25

The best bit was when I googled for it - put in Hulababy and got...... a picture of you! The MN moderator page came up

SaintGeorge · 16/05/2005 20:25

Oh - and the number one pic was of your DD

Hulababy · 16/05/2005 20:26

LOL!!!

That's main reason I took my real name of the moderatiors page (before I chose not to mod anymore) - was worried my prisoners might find it. I have tried finding my name linked to Hula - an gogle/yahoo hasn't managed it yet, so safe I think.

Hulababy · 16/05/2005 20:26

Bless, DD is famous!

nutcracker · 16/05/2005 20:28

I didn't know you wern't moderating anymore Hula. I'm sure i must have been abducted by aliens at some point in the last few weeks because people keep mentioning things that have happened on here and I haven't a clue what they are on aboout.

RTKangaMummy · 16/05/2005 20:30

That is how I feel Nutty

Hulababy · 16/05/2005 20:33

Only as of this week nutty. This is first time I have ever mentioned it to anyone toher than MN team. Wouldn't have at all, but got all fuming and cross earlier And it isn't just the renet threads (although they triggered the decision) - what with moving house, and will probably have to have 2 or weeks, without broadband, linked onto 2 week's holiday - I wouldn't be able to post som much come mid/end June for a while.
