This is my Active conversations at the moment (under stickies):

Conception : Mid Thirties First time TCC 406 Posts. Latest: from VeryAnnieMary at 19 May 09, 10:51:35 AM

Breast and bottle feeding : Breast abscess 1 Post. Latest: from ceb80 at 19 May 09, 10:51:32 AM

Big / slim / whatever weight loss club : The Food Focus Appreciation Society - All wobbly bits welcome! 455 Posts. Latest: from wastingmyeducation at 19 May 09, 10:51:28 AM

etc...

They've been in this order for a while, plus the one about 10 down is one I bumped half an hour ago - I can't believe that's still as high up.
Also the times seem to be completely wrong!
Is it just me? I'm using IE.

It's not just you, I was just thinking how clever of people to be able to post in the future...

PestoMonster · 19/05/2009 10:19

I was just going to start this very thread myself

Except I've got

'Four year old boys are really exasperating' at the top of my Active Convos...

StealthPolarBear · 19/05/2009 10:22

Yes, they do seem to move but it seems to be the same few at the top. Including my Avent breast pump for £10 one!

Sorry. I'm pasting my reply from the other thread here...

Oh dear, oh dear. It's all a bit spooky, isn't it - although Gerry's just said it's no surprise because Mumsnetters are always ahead of the times. Arf.

We're on the case, promise...

We're having a few ongoing problems. One consequence is that we had to reboot the database server and for reasons we're still investigating doing this causes it not to sync up properly with the time server. This means its clock is wrong and this means that posts get recorded with the wrong time. This in turn messes up the calculation of what is an active conversation and what isn't.

Either that or we're fiddling the clock because fiddling your expenses is so last week.

Regardless, it'll all sort itself out shortly as the wrong time on the posts passes.

Apologies.

lol
It's all a defence in case MN gets sued isn't it
"Look that hasn't been said yet...and we'll make sure it never is!"
