Daft question, no doubt, but how do you display number of DCs in public profile?

That's it!

Trying out new nickname, less soppy than last one which was chosen when hormone addled and not to-cool-for-school MNer yet .

Go into Mymumsnet and towards the top of the page there are pale blue tabs one of which is public details and you can change things there.

There is a tab for My children too if that needs updating first.

PacificDogwood · 07/05/2009 12:59

Tried all that.

In public profile it offers drop-down menu "show no of children" etc but then does not actually SHOW no of kids, IYKWIM.

I just feel strange to be on MUMSnet and have displayed "has no children" when at times it feels I have too many , wail!!

If you have done that and have your children listed under the My Children tab, I think you may have broken MN!

It is a shame that if you decide to opt for the 'no children' option you can't actually go back to the age you were when you first had them. I could do with being 33 again!

PacificDogwood · 07/05/2009 15:17

Ha, I've done it! Not broken MN, phew!!

Thank you, Niecie, as I thought, I was just being thick, did not realise you had to register kids, thought I could just put number of them.

And, BTW, I was so ancient when I had mine, going back would only make minimal difference to grey hair overall creakiness. I'd require serious time travel .

Anyway, all fixed, I am no longer weird mother stalker but legit member of the coven community that is MN !

I'm practically the same age as you - I'm not 43 until August but near enough.

We're not old, just maturing nicely.
