Why can't I reuse a name?

When my MIL comes to visit, I like to change my name for the duration; for the last two visits I've used TheLadyofShalott (because The Curse Has Come Upon Me)

I'm expecting her again this weekend and tried to change this morning in anticipation, only to be told the name is in use - I know it is - by me!

Now I daren't try changing to something else, in case I can't get back to RustyBear afterwards - I'd hate to lose it permanently.

Thanks for sorting it - I'll let you know if I have problems changing back to RustyBear on Monday when the curse has been lifted...
