Is it just me? Problems accessing topic lists...cannot read some boards.

Wondering if it is just me.

Since the weekend I have not been able to access all the boards listed in the Talk Topics. If I click on the headings such as 'Being a Parent' nothing happens and I am not able to see all the other boards that are available such as Lone Parent or Step Parents...only the few boards that are listed beside the heading.

I have tried signing in and out again and have also restarted the PC but still not working.
Can anyone advise me of the best way to fix this or work around? Many Thanks.

Oh dear, bentneckwine1 - that is definitely not supposed to be happening. How annoying for you.

What browser are you using on your PC (Safari? Firefox? Explorer?)

Hi Helen...sorry I was out earlier when you posted. Thanks for taking the time to reply to my message.

I have BT Broadband - that is what shows up on my browser toolbar. I am not sure if it operates through Internet Explorer or not...I could email them and ask.

Have you tried clicking on Show All to the right of the Talk Topics blue bar?

Yea, tried that a couple of times...the link changes to 'hide all' but the talk topics list is not added to anywhere.

Browser is Internet Explorer and I have today downloaded Internet Explorer 7. I was hoping that the new browser might help sort out this problem but it sadly hasn't and I still cannot access boards that are not listed the Talk Topics page.

How frustrating for you. All working well for everyone else we think. The only thing we can do is consult the techs on Monday and see if they can come up with any solutions. Have you tried again recently?

Sorry to hear that.

All I can suggest, as a temporary measure, is to use Active Conversations to see other topic titles (above the individual thread titles).

When you see a topic you'd like to explore, click on the topic title and you should get taken straight through to that topic.

LOL Helen...you wouldn't say that if you could see the pile of dishes still in my sink!! I have no idea what was wrong and what exactly fixed it ...but I am very happy.
