Help please, my settings are wonky again

Since the changeover, I've had it on MN new, but with the classis colour scheme.

I've had issues with some things; search, threads I'm on only showing for 3 days, going to preview screen rather than posting the message....

Using MN happily this morning, went away for a few hours, and I've come back to it defaulting to the old MN classic. If I change the colour scheme it is happy in MN new, but I like the classic colurs in MN new, (I like the purple link I've visited), not the other schemes.

Help MN. I hadn't changed anything earlier...it just did it by itself.

and while I'm whinging.....the festive bunny links says put an f in front, but it's a b you need!

Well at least that's explained the 'typo' issue to me - I couldn't figure out what was wrong about the bunnies, so thanks, techs are amending that

But will have to go away and ask techs about your other issues. Is anyone else having the same problems?

It's done it again. this time I had it on the MN new colourway (the paler blue one), but it has defaulted to MN classic.

Maybe it's just too clever and is assuming that as i've been here since the MN classic days that's what I want to look at.

It's amazing how you get used to the new look though; classic looks awful now.

Don't know if this helps (and BigTech working on customise page at moment to make it clearer) but if you're in MN new, you can only have one colour scheme ie the pale blue headers etc. If you choose the classic colours, it will change to MN Classic.

why is there the options at the bottom of the page for the other colours then?

Am I even in MN new?

and why did I used to have the classic colours but in MN new? links definately went purple after clicking them......the two shades of blue in new aren't distinct enough for my crappy eyesight.

I'm not surprised you're confused because the customise page is wrong and in 'MN New' it's saying that 'I'm a link you've visited' will be blue. It won't, it will be purple. Which could go some way to explaining confusion about colour schemes.

BigTech is working to sort out the customise page today and make it clearer (and correct).

Oh dear. I'm getting my links and my threads mixed up. Links ARE blue in MN New, not purple!

I'm even more confused now Geraldine, but it doesn't take much

preview thing happens every now and again, in fact probably not a lot given the amount of time I spend on here
