OK that's it - either the annoying CBeebies advert goes, or I do....

My nerves can't cope with it coming on all the time.

And if anyone posts "see ya then", I'll cry.

I just keep the volume off

vonsudenfed · 30/03/2009 09:55

I posted about this at the weekend - it drove me insane. Even when my cursor wasn't anywhere near it, the music went off. Every sodding time I loaded active conversations. I gave up in the end and went out and did something useful.

And I couldn't turn the volume down as I was listening to music through the computer at the same time.

It is by far the worst ad there has ever been on MN - and I know in one of the earlier threads they were saying that it had been swapped, and they don't accept rollover ads. In which case why did it say "rollover" on it all weekend?!

Do you think we should all email Ceebeebies and tell them what we think...

tiktok · 30/03/2009 11:29

Yep - it was silent for a while after protests, and now the sound has come back again. I don't want to have the sound off if I am listening to music at the same time, and I don't want to have to be wary of where the cursor goes all the time. Why has it been un-fixed???

OliviaMumsnet · 30/03/2009 12:02

Hello
Sorry to come late to this.
Just going to find out what's going on.
Thanks

I have the sound off, but just the little girl jumping around CONSTANTLY at the corner of my eye is really off putting!

Themasterandmargaritas · 30/03/2009 12:10

Gaaahhhhh it's driving me mad too. In protest I am not allowing the dc to watch CBeebies, we have defected to the Disney Channel.

HelenMumsnet · 31/03/2009 14:55

We hear you! Sorry.

And we are trying to fix it. See other thread here

MargaretMountford · 31/03/2009 15:01

the sound keeps coming on if I linger too long - hideous ad!
