Please please PLEASE...........can "hidden" threads be removed from "threads I'm on"??

I've just hidden a thread which I was posting on. But of course it's still there in threads I'm on. I don't want to see anymore......

I also thought MNHQ was going to look at the issue of when you hide a thread, not having it repeated back to you in red letters that you have hidden it?
