Why can't I see pictures on profiles?

I know some people set pictures as private so only certain members can see them but sometimes people mention there pictures in a post so I assume they have put them up for all to see. Could it be my computer's security settings or does everyone know I'm just nosey and block me from seeing their pictures?

you have to scroll to the bottom and there is a link that says

Fattiemummas pictures
or something like that. you have to click on that and it takes you to them

That's what I've been doing but it says picture not found across each of the boxes where the photo should be. Any ideas?

Just done it on yours Fattiemumma and it says the same thing.

I think it is a problem with some web browsers. The pictures have a .UPS file extension which may be throwing the browser.
What browser are you using babycat?

Sorry for delays between posts been preparing and eating dinner! Web browser is Internet Explorer version 7. Used to be able to see them. Not sure if it's to do with new website set up although think its been a while since I've been able to see them. DH home now and has just looked at computer security settings and nothing there that looks like it could block them. Also comes up with $sharedBlock.render("mumsnet talk")
$sharedBlock.render("Mumsnet latest")in the corner of the page. How do I call out for a tech?

Mine does this when I'm on my laptop using my my phone as my modem.

But if I use my lappy at home and connect to my BB connection everything looks fine.

It could be since I've had this T-mobile broadband stick thing that I've had the problems. Can't look at mumsnet on my phone since they changed the layout .

Hi babycat. Sorry to hear you're having problems with the site.

We are finding that people using Internet Explorer are having particular trouble at the moment. We're trying to fix that but it may take some time.

In the meantime, why not give Safari or Firefox a whirl? You can download Firefox for free here

Babycat, when I use phone with lappy it's t-mobile I use! Maybe something to do with them?

I have firefox Helen.

Mine is the same and I'm using t-mobile too (using phone as modem)

This isn't a new problem... it existed prior to the recent site change.

Checking security settings (software Firewall, Broadband router) may also help.
