Sorry for delay spotting this! Will ask tech tomorrow. Anyone else having/has had this problem?

Littlefish · 16/02/2009 20:10

I'm not having this problem, but I still can't customise at all. It just doesn't save. And yes, I've tried refreshing after I've saved, but it still doesn't work.

I also get some messages not wrapping round the adverts so I get a big white space (or sometimes blue space).

Littlefish · 16/02/2009 20:11

In fact it's doing it on cocolepew's second message above.

GeraldineMumsnet · 17/02/2009 10:35

We've tested the preview/posting in mumsnet classic and new and it seems to be working. Anyone still having this problem. Littlefish, sorry you're still having problems. Which computer/browswer etc are you using? Could you email us some screenshots of what's happening eg messages not wrapping round ads. Thanks

Saltire · 17/02/2009 10:43

It does that with me too but not all the time. Sometimes i can preview fine, other times I click on preview and it goes straight to post!

GeraldineMumsnet · 17/02/2009 10:47

can I check, just so we can eliminate possibilities, are you definitely using the 'preview' and 'post' buttons ie not typing and then hitting return?

Saltire · 17/02/2009 10:56

. Yes I am definately pressing Preview. I don't post then press return anyway, I always post then press post.

Far too many Posts in that sentence

GeraldineMumsnet · 17/02/2009 11:43

ok thanks. NikitaTech is investigating

Littlefish · 17/02/2009 13:27

I'm using XP with explorer.

I'd be delighted to send you a screen shot - how do I do it?

Funnily enough - this thread is now fine with the wrapping thing. However, it happens on quite a few others, so if you could tell me how to do a screen shot, I'll send you one.

GeraldineMumsnet · 17/02/2009 14:20

There should be a print screen button on your keyboard (usually top right somewhere) and for any mac users who don't know it's apple + shift + 4

AliceTheCamelHasGotTheHump · 17/02/2009 18:16

Me - just started another thread about it. Sorry. Didn't see this one.

It's only when starting a thread, not when adding to an existing thread. I press preview and it posts.
