I like the "Latest" box to the right.

I like the popular topic lists at the bottom of the page.

Home page.

More attractive and fresher.

pinklaptop · 06/02/2009 11:51

nothing

MamaG · 06/02/2009 12:12

oh come on you lot

get into 2009

There must be something you like

theres a great deal of unnecessary clutter on the page at the bototm
i cant find the topic sections i want,
it just looks too polished, but with little actual content
for example, try finding 'geeky stuff'. it took forever

RustyBear · 06/02/2009 13:20

You just click on Topics & then Show All - the expanded list is much clearer than the old one.

I like it a lot - I agree about the Latest box & I've done a lot more exploring of the main site than I ever did before - I tend to forget that Talk is only one part of the site.

I also like the margin on my iPhone (there's only one, one the right) as I can flick my way down a page without accidentally reporting a post or ending up on someone's profile.
(Though the iPhone does do a weird thing where it converts the date & hour of a post on Active convos into a phone number & starts to call it if you touch it!)

I think both Active convos and Threads I'm On are much clearer and easier to read, though I would like to be able to find the place I left off on Threads I'm on.

I've just discovered all the stuff in the Preganncy, Babies and Toddlers section at the top: some top advice there - v funny too.

MamaG · 06/02/2009 15:02

Porpoise I just clicked on that for the first time - I'm going to spend a lot of time reading that stuff, I can tell.

Much more user friendly HQ

And thats from an Oldie

I like Mumsnet New. I was convinced nothng was better than Classic but I think the New version is much easier to read and better set out.

cocolepew · 06/02/2009 15:07

Easier to read, much clearer, nice shade of blue.

Porpoise · 06/02/2009 16:14

ooh, MamaG, the stuff in those sections has MNetters quotes in - just like in the new MN book.

And I'm in it! Giving advice on getting babies to sleep

Haven't seen you in it yet but will report back if I do

Tee2072 · 06/02/2009 16:20

I like the whole thing. Its cleaner, I find it easier to navigate and easier to read.

I think 'threads I'm on' still needs some tweaks, but mostly I really like it.

MamaG · 07/02/2009 13:16

ooh Porpoise can I have your autograph?

I won't be in it. I never post anything worth quoting, unless there's a section for "Inane chitchat" I'd be in that for sure

I have settled into it easily. No idea why.

Need to go look at the home page now though!

LackaDAISYcal · 07/02/2009 13:27

I like it, seems so much clearer and easier to read.

The latest box is good and the popular topic lists as well....I had to lol other day though as April 09 AN was there constantly with the word fanjo jumping out at you

I thought I would hate it, but actually it's better than the old.

or it will be once they have ironed out all the glitches

i tend not to scroll as far as the stuff at the bottom of the page so it being there isn't an issue.

Flamesparrow · 07/02/2009 13:29

Don't like the front page

I do like the little purple blob buttons though
