Please can someone tell me how to use the Mnet Search facility

So I do my search.

The list of threads comes up.

I click on the one I think I want ... but, actually its the wrong one.

How do I get from the point of exiting that thread and back to the list of threads on the search please?

I always seem to "lose" the search I did and have to type all the details in again.

Which I don't think is right?

Mine used to do that b ut I just use the back arrow thing now (you know, top left of the screen?) and it takes me back to the results.

You are right, if you try to go 'back' you have to start all over again.

Unless there's some secret we don't know about?

You can choose to open the thread in a new window if you right click, so the list remains when you close it.

So why does it work for me? I don't open in a new window?

I went through a phase of what op describes but it is ok now.

I think the problem may be that I get a message saying something like "web page has expired click the refresh button on your toolbar" but I don't have a refresh button any more (new pooter) and I don't know how to get one!

Do you click on an icon that looks like an "E" or one that looks like a small red furry animal wrapped around a world

I want to know why the search facility chucks up the same thread 8 million times so it looks like there's 76 threads with relevant information and actually there are 2 repeating themselves.

Makes me very cross.

I can click back and the info's still there but not all the time.

Actually I'm extremely cross about it. Tis a rubbish search facility and I know my rights.
