I know it will come from advertising revenue, but there isn't that many ads.

Do advertisers pay loads and loads.

How can you afford to run an office, pay wages and buy sheds?

I know I'm being nosey but I don't care .

Ads, CAT subs, media request fees, books.

I assume that you have an ad-blocker!

Their accounts are publicly available IIRC.

VampiresWalkin · 22/01/2009 18:05

Lol @ "and buy sheds"

LadyMuck · 22/01/2009 18:06

I don't think that is strictly MN income though. That is just an unofficial sideline.

PortAndLemon · 22/01/2009 18:07

I thought it was just a hobby...

cocolepew · 22/01/2009 18:07

LOL @ 'buy sheds' and table dancing

Don't they get paid when they ask us to do a survey for a third party?

HelenMumsnet · 22/01/2009 22:55

gigglewitch · 22/01/2009 22:57

my mind is boggling

so c'mon, no we are all nosey interested

HelenMumsnet · 22/01/2009 23:00

To be fair to Justine and Carrie, we only have to do it when Gerry's not brought much in with the busking...

mynewnickname · 23/01/2009 21:01

I've seen some of the advertising rates....that's how they make revenues although I imagine the costs are not insignificant.

Am I right in thinking that all the MN live chat people pay to be on?
