Am I the only one who's having a sudden rush of spam sent re/on their blog?

Which blogging system do you use? If you use WordPress there's a fab plug-in called Akismet which gets rid of a lot of the spam for you.

I have an approval system so that first time commenters go into a pending box so I can check through before it submits - but is time consuming if you get hundreds of spam in one day (which I have had) - that's why Akismet is so good as it bypasses that.

it's my mumsnet blog which is thru wordpress; how do i get that plug-in?

As I don't keep up with my blog, I'm thinking of deleting it anyway. I'm fed up with the spams; it's not worth keeping it.

Yep I get loads - mostly amoxycilin and animal sex .

I just ignore them till I have a load and spam them all at once.

How do I get rid of my blog? Tech, help!

Login to it, go to settings and delete it.
