search dimwit, help please

I can't seem to search the archived messages properly

I want to look for the recipe for bubble mixture so I type in bubble and select subject line and then the date options don't give me this year so I do it from 1/1/04 and come up with 0 results

What am I doing wrong?

can't do links but i put bubble mixture into search archived threads, no dates, and found it. is in other subjects(august 2004) hth
