TECH! am having ishoooos - anyone else?

I am an old ish timer and like to mumsnet in CLASSIC mode but today am having problems

My screen keeps changing to the modern look which i am not keen on...

Can you help?

I personally favour the Classic mode too.

I have discovered that once the moldies thread hit 2000 it's gone to a 2nd page (usually have no pages) which I can't access probably a good thing . Everytime I press "next page" or "go to page 2" it just refreshes, ie makes no difference to, page 1.

I keep having to sign in today.

And the moon vanished, but now it is back.

I like classic too, pages take too long.

I had this too, insider - you can see page 2 if you flip the thread so last post is at the top.
(though it appears to have flipped the whole of MN, which is a pain as I hate reading upwards

so your problems sound smilar = keep having to sign back in etc

Ahh Rusty you are right. I suppose the thing to say is "thank you". Though I was aware there were benefits to not being able to see or post or that thread.

It just did this to me too but is ok now. I have been awol for a couple of days due to another nasty stomach bug and came out in a cold sweat when I saw the 'new' page mode!

I'm sticking to Short threads so I dont have to do pages which is somewhat reassuring as it means I have to avoid that thread. In fact maybe that's why it's happening!
