If you (still) feel the need to discuss Moldies, please do it here so folks can hide this if they want to.

Well hopefully the title says it all. There's been a suggestion, and we agree, that as we did with Baby P and the Mc Canns we just have one thread where anyone who feels they still have anything to add on this subject can post and those who'd rather move on can hide it away.

It feels strange to put this thread in site stuff as we are definitely not wanting to encourage further discussion of Moldies (we have presents to wrap too you know ) but we weren't sure where else to put it.

We will delete any new Moldies threads that are started, so please feel free to report them in case we miss any (what with wrapping the presents and all...)

And if you do want to carry on the discussion please remember that Mumsnet's here to make everyone's lives easier and not the reverse, and that Christmas is a time of goodwill to all mumsnetters past, present and future

Thanks,
MNHQ

Have just spend another xxx hours catching up on this thread - what on earth happened last night? I thought PPH's father had just died?

rebelmum72 · 29/12/2008 22:16

Ah, that was lovely rev

MrJustAbout · 29/12/2008 22:16

NL, she'd destroy me on arts and literature, shade me on history, geography would be a tie, and I'd clean up on the rest.

lovecat · 29/12/2008 22:17

Funny, that, Northern, Mr LC is similarly reluctant to play me at Triv... but then he can whip my arse at Scrabble, so we don't play too many games unless others are around to deflect the glaring crapness of our sad selves at each other's game.

Just read that back. It doesn't make sense, does it? Ah, feck it.

MrJustAbout · 29/12/2008 22:18

Between us, we'd make one good phone a friend on "who wants to be a millionaire".

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 29/12/2008 22:18

I think that's true, sinkingfast, sadly.

Doodle2U · 29/12/2008 22:18

It bloody well wasn't SPB's thread about mould in shower! It was MY thread - about mould in general

SPB's thread is still available (it's quite funny actually) but MY BRILLIANT THREAD got deleted!

It's because I'm an 'also ran' Mnetter, innit?!

Bastards.

Mrjustabout - I''ll accept with some scepticism your assessment of your chances at Trivial Pursuit - and back the rev any day

sinkingfast · 29/12/2008 22:22

Ah OK.

i am the other way round, swear loads more irl than on here, tho i do tend to avoid unleashing my potty mouth around children

SwedesInADirtyMacAndSunglasses · 29/12/2008 22:25

Rev. LOL

RustyBear · 29/12/2008 22:25

The power of your linking tools is pretty crap though, Mr Rev...Here

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 29/12/2008 22:27

Out of the mouths of babes, huh?

It's the disappointment contained within in 'the pub! the pub!' that really makes this the true message of Christmas, for me.

NorthernLurker · 29/12/2008 22:27

Come on Rev - I've just placed a wager of a large sum of money, 12 camels and my kitchenaid on you beating Mrjustabout! A little confidence please - or you could cheat? Or answer 'Ronald Reagan/San Francisco/Kenny Everett to any question if you've got the old version and 'Oasis/South Africa/Gwyneth Paltrow' if it's the newer version?

rebelmum72 · 29/12/2008 22:27

Thank you, thank you, thank you Mr Justabout

Am off to have a chortle (funnily enough a word I would never use in RL, though am more than happy to swear should the occasion require it).
