Well hopefully the title says it all. There's been a suggestion, and we agree, that as we did with Baby P and the Mc Canns we just have one thread where anyone who feels they still have anything to add on this subject can post and those who'd rather move on can hide it away.

It feels strange to put this thread in site stuff as we are definitely not wanting to encourage further discussion of Moldies (we have presents to wrap too you know ) but we weren't sure where else to put it.

We will delete any new Moldies threads that are started, so please feel free to report them in case we miss any (what with wrapping the presents and all...)

And if you do want to carry on the discussion please remember that Mumsnet's here to make everyone's lives easier and not the reverse, and that Christmas is a time of goodwill to all mumsnetters past, present and future

Thanks,
MNHQ

that Partsmouth was the only part of that you questioned

ninah.
Briefly . Some memebers of mumsnet have formed new group for several good reasons. Some members of mumsnet were upset by this for several good reasons. Most people are trying to move on now - for many many good reasons.

Merry Christmas Everyone, I've been sad all week and felt like I did at school but had a little think in the middle of the night (awake with the real genuine flu and decided that life is here for the living. I'm trying to have a positive 2009 after a rotten 2008 and harbouring resentment is not the way to go.

SOOOOOOOO......Have a restful, fun-filled, happy time, eating your faves and drinking perhaps a noggin or 2, Here's to everyone who has found support, lost their temper, cried and sniffled, above all smiled in recognition and laughed til they cried on Mumsnet this year, Moldies, Newbies, posters, lurkers, MNHQ.....one and all!!

ninah · 24/12/2008 13:04

that's ok jf, I'm shameless!

Fimbo · 24/12/2008 13:10

I live South of Norwich does that count?

pagwatch · 24/12/2008 13:15

hmm
I will have to consult my yakography books.

Have you noticed teeny tiny yak activity locally? Any low lying foliage inexplicably nibbled. And chocolate tree ornaments are apparently popular.
Anything?

I used to visit staff who worked in an office in Norwich. Strange local pub as I recall....

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 24/12/2008 13:16

Oh my god. I ordered a large free range chicken from the quite posh but not that posh butcher. It cost...
\

£33.00

I am... pthah.

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 24/12/2008 13:16

AnneOfAvonlea · 24/12/2008 13:18

Blimey. I thought £13 for the Turkey Crown DH came home with last night was pricey.

Fimbo · 24/12/2008 13:19

Does secret wink at Pag.

I think you missed the "s" off pub.

Flihgtattendant · 24/12/2008 13:19

Lol at partmouth and the yaks.

Lapin will laugh if she sees this.

I have had a moment of revelation (not as good as yours, earthymama - and I hope your flu is better soon, getting over it here too!)

Has anyone read the Sneetches by Dr Seuss?

It kind of explains it all really, mnore or less.

'stars upon thars' or not., Happy Christmas guys.

pagwatch · 24/12/2008 13:21

I think you may be right Fim

Onebat - I bought two v large (2.9kg) free range organic chickens from Waitrose and they each cost £12. I'm stuffing one with chilli, apple and ginger and the other with parsley and thyme.
