If you (still) feel the need to discuss Moldies, please do it here so folks can hide this if they want to.

Well hopefully the title says it all. There's been a suggestion, and we agree, that as we did with Baby P and the Mc Canns we just have one thread where anyone who feels they still have anything to add on this subject can post and those who'd rather move on can hide it away.

It feels strange to put this thread in site stuff as we are definitely not wanting to encourage further discussion of Moldies (we have presents to wrap too you know ) but we weren't sure where else to put it.

We will delete any new Moldies threads that are started, so please feel free to report them in case we miss any (what with wrapping the presents and all...)

And if you do want to carry on the discussion please remember that Mumsnet's here to make everyone's lives easier and not the reverse, and that Christmas is a time of goodwill to all mumsnetters past, present and future

Thanks,
MNHQ

How many of you have squabbling children today?

And what do I do about it?

pagwatch · 24/12/2008 10:45

at daftpunk
pragmatic and festive yet still letigious

TotalChaos · 24/12/2008 10:47

peachy - I think that sort of clause would be unwieldy (imagine defining all the words - product/contacting/contact" etc and a nightmare to enforce - and could potentially restrict all sorts of things like people with small card making/jewellery biz etc. besides which since moldies is a private non-commercial board, so wouldn't really be a rival "product" would it?

GoodWilfToAllMN · 24/12/2008 10:48

I have many squabbling children. I shall be marching them around outside in wellies after lunch

SixSpotBurNativity · 24/12/2008 10:49

Peachy, lots of us will still post on both. I would never leave Mumsnet - the SN boards in particular.

p.s. thread hijack but I saw your posts about your DS3 - I think I have your email address on my home PC - would you mind if I emailed you? As you know my DS3 is similar age and DX. But I don't want to email you if you would rather not hear from me, or not hear from me atm anyway.

AnneOfAvonlea · 24/12/2008 10:51

I cant be bothered to go outside it is cold. We have watched a DVD this morning which kept them quiet, and now they are making a christmas card for baby annabel . Will be short-lived peace though.

Tortington · 24/12/2008 10:54

arrrrrrghhhhhhh

AnneOfAvonlea · 24/12/2008 10:55

Custy - you are insane to go to Tesco, with child, on Christmas eve.

pagwatch · 24/12/2008 10:57

custy
are you crazy

my ds1 was packing bags for charity there yesterday and it took farking hours just to drop him off and pick him up.

goldFAQinsenceandmyrrh · 24/12/2008 10:58

I have squabbling children that have both just been sent to the naughty steps (have to have 2 in different places in the house for when they're both being silly ). I know it's Christmas Eve etc etc, but their sillyness had gone from beyond just having fun to sillyness where someone was going to get hurt (and nearly did)

So now feeling even more un-Christmassy because I've ended up shouting at them

2AdventSevenfoldShoes · 24/12/2008 11:00
