That'll learn you.

CliffRichardSucksEggsInHell · 05/12/2008 14:36

I thought if you deleted your membership then your name could be given out to anyone who wanted it?

Can't you become MacDreamy? Or McDreeamy?

PortAndStilton · 05/12/2008 14:38

You can find whoever the Tech du jour is and flutter your eyelashes at him. QuintessentialShadows managed it a couple of months back and may be able to give you eyelash-fluttering classes...

Wallaroo · 05/12/2008 14:38

Was just thinking that Cliff something very similar. Yes I've tried the original but it won't let me.

You need BigTech

Notquitegrownup · 05/12/2008 14:53

lol itcameuponamidnightclear - are you my Grandad? Or are you from the midlands, at least? I've never heard anyone else say that, but he used to all the time.

itcameuponamidnightexpress · 05/12/2008 17:21

I am not anybody's grandad, as far as I'm aware notquitegrownup. And no, I'm not from the Midlands either. But I think they maybe used it in deepest Hertfordshire, where I grew up.

DarrellRivers · 05/12/2008 17:25

Hi McDreemy, how are things?

foofi · 05/12/2008 17:33

Ah - I've done this too - miss my old name but there doesn't seem to be any way of getting it back - it just tells me it's in use by someone else (er, yes, that's me). V annoying. Let me know if you manage it.

HelenMumsnet · 05/12/2008 17:49

McDreemy (as you are now): if you can send us an email ([email protected]) from the email address you used as McDreamy, we'll see what we can do...
