MN, a question about hiding threads.

Why is it we have to actually go into a thread if we want to hide it?

Could we have a little hide thing by the side of all threads in active convos iyswim?

Its just sometimes I see a thread I don't want to and often think it would be so much easier to just click it away, rather than having to go into it and do it.

Very lazy I know, but

No no, I mean if your looking at the full list of active convos, rather than going into the thread you don't want to see to hide it, instead being able to hide it from the active convo list.

Atm there is a black dot next to every thread, the thread name and then how many messages and who posted last.
I propose that it should then have a hide button at the end or next to the black dot

You have to turn ON the hide option via 'Customise Talk Board' link at the top of the page.

Its not on mine either and I've done the customise thing.

I'll go and check my settings again.

New dilema, I've hidden one thread and its managed to get rid of about 15 others so I only have a very short list of active convos?

I've changed all my settings back to normal but all I did was hide 2 threads!

In the customisation page you can set the number of threads in active convos to 10, 25, 50 or 100 - have you changed that by mistake?

Its unlimited.

I think I've just excluded loads and loads of topics

But I haven't got one chat one in my active convos.
Thats not normal surely!
