QUESTION about the 'iggle piggle/ children in need' competition ...

It says 'download the pdf file' to enter the competition, then scan your final design.

So are we suposed to download that, print it, do our own design over, then scan it and send it via email?

Because I don't have a scanner or printer can I just draw my own igglepiggle on paper (like in the old days then post that to them?

Or i could draw it then use the library scanner to email it. (but im not walking there just to download and print that iggle piggle as i can just as easily draw him myself)

Would that be ok?

And if i were to draw it then scan it, does it have to be a certain size or anything?

Or if your a dab hand with using software on your computer, you could download the pdf, design your thing on the computer and just put it as an attachment in the email.
So no printing or scanning involved.

I'd like to know how many times you can enter?

EnchantedWithEdwardCullen · 01/11/2008 15:23

Im not, thats why want to draw!

I got an A+ in art and school and an 'E' in I.T ... so you see why Im asking!

Fair enough

GeraldineMumsnet · 01/11/2008 16:15

Yes, it's fine to draw your own igglepiggle and post it. A4 size should be fine. Will check re number of entries with BBC on Mon am.

Great. I'll wait till Monday before I print off 100 iggle piggles

EnchantedWithEdwardCullen · 01/11/2008 16:19

Igglepiggle is bigger than I realised! The template is A3, not A4

DoNotAttempttoblowupparliament · 01/11/2008 22:09

oooo is this an adults design competition or do we have to let the little peopl ehave a turn???

GeraldineMumsnet · 04/11/2008 13:45

Ok, so got answers to your questions now:

  • yes, children can enter
  • it's restricted to one entry per person
GeraldineMumsnet · 07/11/2008 10:45

and we've turned pdf into A4 so hope that's easier, printer, scanner and file size-wise

GeraldineMumsnet · 07/11/2008 16:58

or I thought we had!! BigTech sorting and A4 pdf will be there shortly.
