MM, I know what you mean when it's a thread about a very specific situation and the event has long gone, but sometimes people can't win. If you are newish and post a thread about, say, controlled crying or something, you often get posters saying that it's been done to death, and that you should do a search for the topic before starting a new thread. Maybe that's why?

Ah I thought you were suggesting there was a technical problem that meant that old threads were showing up in active conversations or something. Clearly it's just people choosing to post on an old thread, thereby reviving it. I shall stand down the crack team of tech problem solvers.
