We need to upgrade some hardware in one of the Mumsnet servers. As such the site will be offline around 9am or shortly before, on Friday 17th. It should be back online within 20 minutes or so.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

(And FloFlo is clearly mad as a hatter. )

LittleMyDancingWithTheDevil · 16/10/2008 17:16

Yet More Tech, I feel sure your eyes are quite lovely.

Now please don't break the site!

SharpMolarBear · 16/10/2008 17:17

MamaG · 16/10/2008 17:18

First day of my maternity leave and what do you? Go offline

DonDons · 16/10/2008 17:28

FGS can't you make it 10am when the bambino is awake?

morningpaper · 16/10/2008 17:40

"He makes me shudder. And not in a good way. If you look into his eyes, they're just empty pools of blackness."

I had to read the rest of the thread; for a minute I thought you were talking about me.

lolol me too

I was thinking "Well he is a BIT scary but really that's just OTT"

(p.s. What's wrong with the gimp mask I gave you?)

needmorecoffee · 16/10/2008 17:43

actually I quite like Jezza
Although how he doesn't punch those waste of spaces who don't support how ever many kids they have and sit there saying 'well, I didn't like the job' to explain why they are on benefits.

LittleMyDancingWithTheDevil · 16/10/2008 17:45

Did you see the Guardian piece about how they stitch their guests up though? I do agree, some of the people on there are a waste of space, but the article showed how they really took advantage of some very vulnerable people in order to make car crash telly. It was quite horrifying. I'll see if I can find it.

LittleMyDancingWithTheDevil · 16/10/2008 17:48

Behind the scenes at Jeremy Kyle

needmorecoffee · 16/10/2008 18:08

no idea why people agree to go on shows like that.

LittleMyDancingWithTheDevil · 16/10/2008 18:19

Me neither, I'd run a mile.

Then again I suspect I'm not target market - Am just imagining DP sitting there in his glasses and middle class voice going 'But of course he's my child! And why wouldn't I support him? Are you mad, man?' to Jeremy Kyle!

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/10/2008 18:37

Make it 10am eh YMT - I'll be out by then.

MmeTussaudsChmberOfChocHobnobs · 16/10/2008 18:55

LittlemyDancing
That article is shocking.

nappyzonehasastroppytoddler · 16/10/2008 19:30

southeastastra · 16/10/2008 19:38

LittleMyDancingWithTheDevil · 16/10/2008 19:39

it really is, isn't it? terrifying.

mosschops30 · 16/10/2008 20:23

Tis a good job im going to starbucks with my friend then, as thats usually my fave time for MN 9-11 whilst ds at nursery

LilRedWG · 16/10/2008 20:59

Totally out of order. DD is at nursery on Friday mornings and I spend my time MNing whilst eating my leisurely breakfast.
