JudgeNutmeg · 11/09/2008 16:04

If a child brings a friend home for tea what is the first thing the hosting parent should do?

  1. Check reading log and enter details on your ORT spreadsheet to assess position in class rankings.
  1. Present with a choice of oven chips or pasta pesto. Note selection and judge accordingly.
  1. Arrange drawing activity and get child to draw 'where we stayed on holiday'. If child draws honey-coloured villa on Cote D'Azur add child to first draft of 'Birthday Party 2009' list.

oxford reading tree?

combustiblemelon · 11/09/2008 16:15

The site needs to shut down for essential maintenance at 10PM for half an hour. Do you :
a) Put a quick warning on Site Stuff just before it happens.
b) Issue a brief explanation once the site is back up, if anyone asks- no-one will really care about such a brief interruption.
c) Give a days warning and hide for a few hours after it happens to avoid the wrath of women forced to interact with their DH/Ps.
