Survey with chance to win a week in Costa Rica or a hamper and six months supply of coffee

Hi all

Well the latest survey prize is a bit different - but you can't say we don't offer variety

Kenco are giving three mumsnetters the chance to win a trip to Costa Rica staying for a week in luxury Eco-lodges. The new coffees they are launching (Rich Roast, Smooth Roast and Decaffeinated) are now made with beans sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified? farms and the winners will visit these coffee growing communities and learn more about how the programme benefits people and the environment. They'd also be asked to report back on the experience.

It's strictly for mums only (ie no partners or children allowed ) and there's a set week for travel - w/c Nov 9th - but they are offering financial help with childcare and you would be travelling with two other mumsnetters.

If this doesn't appeal there are also 10 luxury coffee hampers and six months supply of Kenco coffee so do please still fill in the survey.

For a chance to win the trip or the coffee hamper you have to be a UK mum, over 21 and a coffee drinker.

here's the survey

Good luck

how are they going to know Fio. None of the questions on the survey have anything to do with coffee...

TheArmadillo · 09/09/2008 15:53

done

whomovedmychocolate · 09/09/2008 16:05

Give me the coffee, I need caffeine to chase my little buggers rascals around

Fennel · 09/09/2008 16:15

Coffee, Central America and a week without my family sounds pretty ideal to me.

Indith · 09/09/2008 16:19

I wanna go! But I don't drink coffee and will be pushing it rather for travel by then

cocolepew · 09/09/2008 16:19

Done my 'why should you win' bit was very cheesey

psychomum5 · 09/09/2008 16:22

I've done it

and said yes to the trip

am sure I won't be chosen anyway (never am for this type of thing), but it would be such an amazing experience(sp?) to have, and may just show my daughters that going new places and doing new things are not as scary as they sometimes sound.

plus, I may find 'me' on that trip too.

altho, part of me wishes I had opted for the coffee.....

psychomum5 · 09/09/2008 16:25

did any of you see tho, in the terms and conditions, needing to be ok with the media coverage should you be chosen and be ok with photo's etc????

not sure me being in any pics is a good thing.....

of course, all this will be null and void anyway......could you see my DH letting me go and leaving him with the psychobrood for a week???

cocolepew · 09/09/2008 16:28

If I win the trip I'm going to say I'm somebody else, then if people don't like me they won't know who I am

filthymindedvixen · 09/09/2008 16:29

Please MNHQ, can I change my mind over the trip please?? I can go, dammit, DH says so! and I have 2 weeks' holiday left to take before xmas and...and...!

Fennel · 09/09/2008 16:31

Yes, would we end up being pawns in a Kraft marketing ploy? It seems likely, if you read the terms and conditions. I've filled out the survey but am rather suspicious. do you think they want three rather beautiful but dim mothers to front their campaign?

psychomum5 · 09/09/2008 16:41

I can do the 'dim mother' bit.

can't do the beautiful tho, sadly.

cocolepew · 09/09/2008 16:42

If I win I'll be psychomum5

psychomum5 · 09/09/2008 16:43

meanie!!!

cocolepew · 09/09/2008 16:50

I'd be on my best behaviour

psychomum5 · 09/09/2008 16:56

nope, sorry, you are not pretending to be me unless I can also go and pretend to be you.

cocolepew · 09/09/2008 16:59

NO! Not if you aren't beautiful. Dim is ok.

psychomum5 · 09/09/2008 17:01

does it help that DH and the kiddies think I am???

oh, and cod once said I looked 'very european'

and cocolepew is french is he not, so therefore I can pass for that maybe.

bythepowerofgreyskull · 09/09/2008 17:01

done - wish I had had the courage to say yes to the trip.. I just know that I wouldn't have the balls

Fennel · 09/09/2008 17:03

I would love a trip to costa rica with strangers, it's the sort of thing I spent my life doing before children, but I don't think they'd love having me on it. I'd be all cynical about big corporations interest in fair trade and whether it was all just a gimmick.

NappiesGalore · 09/09/2008 17:17

omg - i SO want to go to costa rica...

NappiesGalore · 09/09/2008 17:19

oh i can do dim and beautiful! hurrah! i knew my skills would come in handy one day...

psychomum5 · 09/09/2008 17:20

nappies, we go together, not strangers then...and you would look fabulous in the pics!!!!

Cappuccino · 09/09/2008 17:22

oh I got all excited

but it was instant

what kind of a frothy kind of a drink do you take me for?

NappiesGalore · 09/09/2008 17:23

pics? what pics? havent read thread [lazy bitch] have i missed anything important?
but yes, absolutely, i can do ornamental given enough warning
AND i can speak spanish in a s american accent... you SO need me on that trip...
