Saturn74 · 31/08/2008 03:04

my local threads stay at the top of active convos for about 30 minutes.

Flamesparrow · 31/08/2008 11:10

Ooooooooooh that could explain it

I can't get rid of mine.

Its driving me nuts, also as its a private convo between 2 mums meeting up.

I can't see Mumsnet Local on hide and show threads either.

Make it stop!!

Hi there.

HumphreyCushion is right: threads from your local area stay at the top of your active convos for a short while, then disappear.

Unless someone else posts on them.

Which is why maidamess was seeing hers for so much longer.

HTH

Flamesparrow · 01/09/2008 07:52

But why can't we hide them???

Yes, why can't we hide them.

Are you trying to force friendships with local people?

Flamesparrow · 01/09/2008 08:02

Say it ain't so!!!

I just sign in and out of mumsnet local when I ook at the board. that way if I don't want to know, I don't have to

Flamesparrow · 01/09/2008 08:28

How do you do that then?

OP posts:
maidamess · 01/09/2008 15:10

yeah, how do you do that?

norksinmywaistband · 01/09/2008 21:34

click on the local tab at the top of the screen
There is then a log out tab on the local page, it only logs you out of the local sites not mumsnet
