I don't think that MN Towers have done anything to activate it though have they? It's just people reviving threads from last year. Why they feel the need to do that in August I don't know.

Well, this 'summer' has been utter shite here.

And I've now finished all my shopping before the baby's born and before we get into debt over impulse buying.

Going to start posting about the homemade gifts now.

Finished it off today at the Cowal Gathering.

Official Cowal Gathering tshirts for the Americans, they'll love 'em, and Springbank whisky for FIL - he'll enjoy it.

I wasn't sure; it certainly isn't in the topic list and you can't start a new thread....or this would be in there!

I hate having to hide things though as I never remeber to unhide them, then come the end of October when I need them I won't be able to see any Christmas threads and I'll be wondering why I can't find the "great shopping sites" thread.

We stayed in a lovely cottage in Kilfinnan a few years ago on hols and fell in love with the place.

i think you can start new threads .... i'm sure i did already did it on the basis that those of you who don't want to discuss it yet can hide that topic.

We haven't 'reactivated' the Christmas topic yet - some of us at MN Towers haven't even finished our summer hols yet!

Someone just resurrected a thread from last year (which is why you couldn't hide it).

No word yet on when the topic will be officially 're-opened'. Give us a while to shake the sand off our clothes first...

Helen - how come sea managed to start the jingle bells thread then?
