I know that cos of a previous thread where we were monaing about paragraphs being lost.

Apparently when the posts are archived they are stripped of smilies to save space on the hard drive thingumy. The archiving process was also reomving the carriage returns (technical term for hitting "enter") so historical posts with long lists in, or nicely broken into paragraphs woudl appear as a almost unreadble single block of text.
