Please could you consider putting the 'hide' button on the outside of a thread

I think it would be a good idea generally

But a great idea if only for the mumsnet stickies.

i have just 'hidden' three - and if your connection aint the best, its a lot of farting around to get rid of something that doesn't apply to you - or you have entered already.

Its at the end of the title on active convos? Though I'm still on MN classic so not sure what the new-look MN would have.

You can click hide at the end of the thread on active convos, where do you mean you want one?

i can't see a hide button unless i enter the thread itself.

i don[t want to get rid of all stickies - but i might have done the survey or not want a pregnancy test but next week they may have something that applies to me, so hiding them altogether isn't an option.

It looks as if it is in the customise menu in the 3rd section down re active convos. I'm just one of the dinosaurs who kep the "MN classic" settings after the last major change (which introduced pages etc).
