Post hidden by MNHQ

Hello MNHQ

I just wanted to check in to ask why my post in the tutoring topic has been hidden? I am assuming it was seen as advertising. However, the poster immediately prior to me posted her tuition enquiry form, whilst an agency posted a link to their website on the same thread.

I completely understand if you would rather not have posters promoting their businesses and happy to oblige with this, but could you please be consistent?

I've been a MNetter for over 20 years (on and off), but this is now the second post of mine which has been deleted without explanation, but others doing the same thing are not.

Ok, no problem. I have reported the numerous other posts on the same thread advertising their services and would appreciate if the same rules are applied to all.

It would be good if an automatic email was sent when a post was removed. That way the poster would know it had been removed.
