Weird Private Message?

Anyone else had a PM from “Support Mumsnet” asking you to confirm your identity in order to continue to post?

Obviously a scam of some sort but just wondering if anyone else has had it?

Yes, I reported it because if you looked carefully, it was from SupportMumnet.
They've missed the S out on Mumsnet. So it obviously wasn’t genuine.

Mumsnet have obviously swooped in and deleted and presumably banned that user.

They’ve deleted it now funnily enough.

Just a quick update from us to say we banned that spammer and removed all the PMs and posts by now.

I have also received this today, with a link to somewhere outside of the site.

Definitely a scam.
