Some baby names threads are probably started by people TTC or pregnant for the first time and so have only just come to MN, read a bit and then post somewhere random because they haven’t found the right place. Even people who’ve been around a while sometimes start a thread somewhere they didn’t mean to, it’s more likely to happen with newbies.
