Is MN slow for anyone else?

The last two days it's been taking ages to load. Using Chrome.

Very slow loading threads using the app on an iPad.

I’m using the website on an iPhone and it’s giving me flashbacks to the good old days of dial-up, watching it grind its way through the loading process. At least I can get some chores done while I wait for each page to load.

Yes, but fine until the last half hour or so, no problem at all last night or when I popped on earlier today.

Yup. On the app it's vaguely usable but via a browser it's completely unusable as it's so slow

Dont want to jinx it but have just managed to open a few links with no problems.

Maybe they have stopped doing they system housekeeping so now all power is back to providing speedy interaction with users.

As for the dreaded Cloudflare, I can't get past that screen at all and haven't been able to for months. The only way I can get on MN is by following links on email notifications.

On the app for the last couple of days it can be really slow to open threads, or when posting a comment. It just stays blank for ages first. And still this morning it has been slow.

Slow still at times. Plus not allowing you to change words. Like you need to change one letter, click on word and keyboard disappears you need to go to next word along and delete the lot. Other words you can change no bother (just did it again with words) What is going on?

It's not so much it being slow that's the issue with me,it's the refusing to let me edit a post that is pissing me off. It doesn't happen all the time,I'd say about 40% of the time, enough to be annoying. I notice a typo,try to edit it,but no matter how many times I click on 'edit',it won't respond.

It keeps scrolling on its own for me!

Mine’s been crappy and slow for two days.

I’ve got that problem too, scrolling on it’s own and can’t stop it.

The tech term is ‘Ghost scrolling’ apparently and can be due to the sheer amount of Ads on the pages 🤷‍♀️

Weird ghost scrolling for me too. On an iPhone.

Just posting in case the info helps. I have not had an issue in the past 12hours or so.

Yeah I had the strange slow upwards scrolling thing yesterday too for about half hour. Seemed to just go away of its own accord after a while.
