Out of interest, what was the AI-suggested thread name for this? 'Give me my own topic, please'?

There’s a lot more Harry and Meghan or trans posts than ai ones to be fair!

It don’t really work because I asked the question in the title so the AI generated title didn’t know that the body of text was about AI.

They have their own boards. Royal family and whatever the name is of the feminists one now.

I think it is of such pervasive interest and huge impact that it would be a shame to silo it.

Isn't there a techy/geek board already? AI could go under that.

But most of the threads about it in the last few days have been ‘it’s going to kill us all’ the ‘world will end in xx months’, ‘how can anyone have children without being terrified about AI’. The threads are like the early days of Covid before they made the Covid board.

Yes, @PinkWaffleMaker I do get what you mean. But to be honest the whole of politics/society/etc feels like that at the moment.

I wish that MN as a business hadn't had to integrate with social media so much and promote itself there. These days MN just sucks in all the social media awfulness. When it was properly a forum it was more life enhancing.
