Problems with pages freezing and reply box behaviour on iPhone Safari

I use MN web on IPhone/Safari. I run IOS 26.6.2 - issue was also evident before the recent update.
Happens on and off WiFi
The pages are frequently freezing when scrolling. Rectified only by closing the page down and opening site up again. Refresh sticks on reload.

Also… Writing in the reply box and attempting a cut and paste action - kicks me out of the post and back to the main menu that the post is on.

I’ve had the same on a few websites. The page was loading but remained blank. I had to switch to my tablet in the end. Have you found a solution?

I had the same last week, could make it through about 2 replies until it froze.

If you delete all your history and cache that should sort the issue, bit of a pain though.

As PinkFrogss mentioned, clearing your website data can help. If you're using Safari on iOS, you can clear this just for Mumsnet without clearing data for all the other websites you visit.

To do this, open Settings -> Apps -> Safari -> Advanced -> Website Data. From there, search for Mumsnet, swipe left on the Mumsnet entry and tap Delete.

You may need to sign back into Mumsnet afterwards. Once you've done that, please give the site another try and let us know if you're still having problems.

I downloaded DuckDuckGo after months of issues and now have no problems at all.

Android. Firefox. Pages freeze or slow to load. Then when I'm typing a reply, the keyboard disappears and the site crashes and closes. It's taken three attempts to write this.

Still randomly freezing and/ or reloading on iPhone

I’d tried all of this before I posted - no change at all 😬
I’ve switched to Google instead of safari and it seems to be a lot more stable 🤞🏻
