I am using the app on Android and keep having issues seeing the last comment on threads. The 'comment on this thread' box is covering the bottom text in the last comment and I can't scroll up any further. Anyone else?

I was just coming to post this as its really annoying me, also on android.

Gasp0deTheW0nderD0g · 09/08/2026 13:34

I'm getting it on the app (also Android). A workaround is to click the two arrows at the top right of the screen to reverse the order of posts and then the last one will be at the top and finally visible.

Meredusoleil · 10/08/2026 02:54

Yes I am getting this now too. Think it started yesterday or the day before.

AmeliaPMumsnet · 10/08/2026 10:09

Hi all,

Thanks for flagging and sorry about this. Is this happening on every single thread or only threads with a certain number of replies?

Could you also let us know which version of the app you have installed? You can check this by opening the Mumsnet app and selecting the profile menu in the top right hand corner. You should then see the app version at the bottom of the menu.

Thanks for your patience!

Meredusoleil · 10/08/2026 10:10

Version 45.3.11.

Yes. On every thread, long or short!

Meredusoleil · 10/08/2026 10:12

Except when the last comment is my own comment. I can see that in full.

3xmonsters · 10/08/2026 10:13

Version 45.3.11

Thank you all! This is super useful.

Sorry to ask for more information, but could you please let us know what model your device is (i.e. Samsung Galaxy S, etc) and what version of Android it's currently running?

Here are some instructions for checking which version of Android your device is running, in case it's helpful:

  1. Open the Settings app on your phone.
  2. Scroll down and tap About phone or About device.
  3. Look for Android version. On some devices, you may need to tap Software information first.
  4. Please let us know the Android version number shown there (for example, Android 14 or Android 15).
bananaapplepears · 10/08/2026 10:19

Meredusoleil · 10/08/2026 10:22

Android 16.

Hi all,

Thanks for your patience. We just released an update that contains a fix for this. You may need to quit the app completely and then reopen it again for the update to take effect. You'll know it's updating as the app might take a little longer than usual to load when you open it again.

Please let us know if you continue to have any problems!

Wigglypasta · 10/08/2026 16:07

Yes I am getting this too. Seems to be just the shorter threads that don't have the that's all for now bit at the bottom. Using App on a samsung phone.

Wigglypasta · 10/08/2026 16:08

Sorry I commented before I realised a fix had been done.

namechange62 · 10/08/2026 18:59

Me too..

AmeliaPMumsnet · 11/08/2026 09:06

No problem! Please let us know if you have any further issues 🙏
