Minus signs

When I look at threads in the active section, there’s a - sign next to them now

A + would be quite helpful

Is this part of a change? I’ve only just seen it today.

also, I have accidentally hidden two threads that I wanted to read - honestly, I’ve never seen this button before so just fat fingers - does anyone know how I restore them? Thank you

I’m wondering if a plus sign is coming - it seems to me to be a bit odd to make a priority out of posters being able to remove topics, but not to be able to just quickly add them.

i’m wondering if I can resurrect something after I’ve accidentally hit the minus sign.

Are you on an iPad? If I have mine landscape I have the minus sign to hide from Active, if I hold it portrait I have three dots which then give me the option to hide from Active or Watch.

All you can do is go into your hidden threads and unhide.

How would a plus sign work, are you saying you should be able to see all the threads you hidden in active incase you want to unhide them?

It's two clicks to hide so I'm surprised you'd do it by accident enough times for it to be an issue if I'm understanding you correctly

It's just fat fingers because I was trying to close a side ad

@BacksToTheFuture do you know the way you would click on three dots? So if you're looking at active threads and you want to save something to read later, you click on the three dots on the right hand side and you get an option to "watch"the thread? So I was thinking maybe a single plus sign and one tap was going to replace that.

As other posters have pointed out, selecting the minus symbol next to a thread title in Active will hide that thread.

If you'd rather not hide threads from your Active feed, you can turn this setting off in your Talk settings here. Just scroll down to the Active feed section and switch off "Let me hide threads on my active feed."

You can also view any threads you've already hidden by going to your profile menu in the top right-hand corner, selecting Settings, then Talk settings, and scrolling down to Manage hidden threads and topics. Here's a link though so you can go there straight away.
