Why can I not close down the Pro Plan Sterilised Cat Food ad? It's covering the top part of posts I want to read!
I know on free accounts we have to put up with adverts, but this is intrusive. The above is just an example of one. It's been happening for days now. Can't something be done?

Hi MoonWoman69

Sorry to hear you're having problems with ads.

You should still be able to read threads without adverts stopping you. If an ad ever blocks content or navigation, please do let us know, ideally with a screenshot or short screen recording, so we can investigate and fix it.

Thanks @CoralMumsnet Where would I post that to? It's still happening!

Is this an AI response because it makes no sense in relation to the OP Confused

It has been happening for days now! There is a thread on it. We were told it would be fixed today. It is so annoying.

DerekMumsnet · 28/07/2026 16:49

@TemperanceWest @MoonWoman69 This is now fixed and apologies I didn't link the other thread here where you saw my updates!

Please raise this again if you see it.

To help us make sure they are related in future, if you can screenshot the issue you are seeing we can make sure you get relevant updates on your thread.

Apologies again,
MNHQ
