Username not changing?

My username isn't changing, despite saying it's saved, when I go into the thread it is only showing the one I just changed from.

It is showing on here, but won't let me use it on a different thread that I was using it on about weightloss.

is anyone else having this problem?

Just to check, have you posted on this weight loss thread before?

If you have, you'll need to continue using the same username you originally posted under on that thread. Once you've posted in a thread with a particular username, it isn't possible to switch to a different one within that same thread.

Could you also let us know how you changed your username? Did you update it in the 'Add your message here' box when posting on the thread, or did you change it in your account settings here: https://www.mumsnet.com/settings/account?

I changed it in account settings and have definitely used the one above on 2 different weight loss threads. I wouldn't have been able to use the other one before due to that, and it was automatically showing previously, and now it isn't.

@AmeliaPMumsnet I just double checked and realised that it is a continuation thread. I must have accidentally posted with the wrong user name, but had used the right one on the first thread, so was a bit confused.

Hi @mounjaroatlast,

No problem at all. If you go to the thread where you posted with the wrong username and report your post, our team will be able to take a look.

Just select 'Other' as the reason for your report and let us know which username you'd like us to use. We'll update it on our side, and you should then be able to continue posting with the correct username.
