If someone is specifically named on a MN thread title - eg Oy! MrsXXX , over here!- is it the done thing to open it and have a nose?

Well, I got to the bit about GD and thought "I don't know what that means. Why the hell am I reading this thread anyway...?" Which got me thinking do other people do that too!!

Wendy, I always do hide them, really I do. I figure they're nothing to do with me... like the mail for someone that lived in my house before me.

But it's on the Internet. So more like a whopping great big billboard erected outide your house for the person who lived there before you. IMO.

I read them if the person named is a particularly interesting MNetter or someone I know.
