Or do I just delete it and block the poster?

There should be 3 dots next to the message that give the option to report it.

Hi there @likelysuspect perhaps you could email us with a screenshot of what you mean so we can get to the bottom of this for you. Here is the email to use [email protected]

There are 3 dots next to the message and the optikons are to block the user or to clear the chat. Nothing to report it

You need to click the three dots next to the message you want to report, not the user. You’ll find the report option there.

There are 3 dots next to the message, and the only 2 options are to block the user or delete the chat, nothing to report it

Screenshots aren't fancy! What device are you posting from? Somebody will be able to instruct you.

I got a spam message a couple of days ago too and I agree it's not obvious how to report it - like the OP said the three dots just give options of block user or clear chat. I've attached a screenshot.

OP, screenshot on mine is Volume Down + Power button (press both at once). It's different on different phones though.

Aha, this is the same message as me

As it turns out, (as I didnt read the whole message, no reason to), you actually have to scroll all the way through the message to find the 3 dots randomly put halfway through the screen for the message, so I have now reported it

Its a ridiculous place to put the 3 dots, unless you scroll down to read the full message and why would you when its spam, you wont see the dots

Oh thanks - I didn't see that at all! Have reported now.
