What's with all the new disclaimers?

they're odd, and intrusive.

Chat, MH, meet-ups etc- yes we know mners aren't psychotherapists, and that this is the internet, and therefore not necessarily everyone is who they say they are.

Do we really need these 'big brother' type messages peppering the site?

the meet up one has always been there(and is very sensible) haven't seen any new ones.

they do need them. Sadly on the internet these days, you can be sued for prtty much anything if you dont have a disclaimer. There have been cases of folk posting about say feeling suicidal before, actually doing it and the website getting sued for helping when they werent professionals and not stating as much..not this website of course. Bit of a mine field really.

What new disclaimers?

Chat only has a 90-day removal note which has always been there.

MH?
