Post removed after questioning validity while accusations of trolling remained

JustaDream · 19/06/2026 17:48

I questioned the validity of a post and was called a 'troll' by someone clearly out to start trouble, since I had already explained my reasoning and dealt with it, politely, with the OP.

Despite this, moderators remove my post and leave the false accusers.

I have reported spam, abuse, AI etc and moderators know this but still elected to make a bad decision to pacify the party causing injury!

This is why I don't support MN, financially!! I was about to subscribe but I'm not going to pay to be censored by falsehoods and children.

Sort yourself out, MN!

Just looked, it's post about next-door neighbours
you're not negotiating in peace in the Middle East

RydellHighSchool · 20/06/2026 06:35

Would you like fries with that?

BeckyAMumsnet · 20/06/2026 17:49

Hello @JustaDream your posts were removed as we don't allow troll hunting. If there are other posts calling you a troll, these would be treated similarly so please do report them and we'll review.

The replies to the OP demonstrate everything that is wrong with MN these days

No, it really isn't that deep. If people are so emotionally invested in an anonymous internet forum they shouldn't be on it. It's called autonomy. You can remove yourself from situations you're uncomfortable in, without moaning to everybody else and expecting validation.

I agree

Well you seem fairly invested in disagreeing with me.

Respectfully, you take up absolutely no headspace whatsoever.

Lolol.
back to the OP though Christ you disagree with somebody on an anonymous thread about their neighbours that you've never met.
