I usually use the app. Today I’ve gone on the desktop site and seen these. I have not sent any of these messages.

Oh I had something like this yesterday!
Said I had a new PM. Was a short user name starting with M I didn’t recognise. Same message said all messages have been deleted 1 week ago.

i’m on the app and got an email saying i have pm’s.

but i cannot see the pm messages anywhere. dont know if i can only see on webpage or if it’s an erroneous message. who knows.

I had this once when I engaged on a thread that later got removed because user wasn’t genuine - they have messaged some random psychic crap asking for money so I’m assuming the user got deleted and so did the message

5 letters, ending L? If so, I got several and reported. It was spam about a SEN research study.

Hello @notatinydancer thanks for your post - yes these are from spammers - they were sent to you (and many others). We banned the poster and removed their messages.

You can also report PMs to us as you would with a post. If you see something that doesn't look right, please let us know.

These were messages that were supposed to have been FROM me which I didn’t send though. Not ones I’d received.

Are you sure they are ones you have supposedly sent? Just because they have the “from: notatinydancer” part doesn’t mean you sent the messages. It says that even if it is just the other person sending you a message.

It always says “from YOUR NAME”. These are both messages TO you. One has been deleted the other not.

Posters often send unwanted PMs on here.
