Site freezing

Hi MNHQ. The site keeps freezing for me today. This 👇appears at the top of the screen then everything freezes. I don't use an ad blocker. I am using Google chrome on Android.

Hello @OneStarAwake thanks for posting - the screenshot is really helpful. We're going to look into this, but there are a few things you could try in the meantime:

1. Clear your Chrome cache for Mumsnet, then close down and reopen Chrome.
2. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, in case something on the network is blocking an ad-related script.
3. Check whether you have any VPN, private DNS, antivirus, “safe browsing”, or tracking protection enabled on your phone, as these can sometimes behave like ad blockers even if you haven’t installed one.
4. Make sure Chrome is fully updated.

Hi there. Clearing the Chrome cache for MN seems to have solved this. Thank you!

This advert seems to freeze the page. Can't even click on the add to get the details. Have already cleared the cache, nothing blocking anything. O have to close and reopen the browser. Chrome on android.

yes freezing happening a lot for me

Pretty fed up with MN after repeated issues a few weeks ago with the 404 messages
