Anyone else getting these? Started yesterday, unsure if because I am currently abroad. Quite tiresome, they appear every single time I click onto a new page - a new thread, back to "active" or even the next page on a thread.
Happening both on laptop (Safari) and mobile (Google browser that I only have to use mumsnet on because of the crashing/refreshing issue on mobile Safari).

Oh I also can't click on "active" or "I'm watching" on my computer, getting error 404. (Works fine on the phone)

Yep - we had to add some extra protections earlier today, unfortunately.

The problems with "Active" and "I'm Watching" can be fixed by clearing your cache. I know we say that a lot, but it's true. This was caused by a human mistake when we were configuring the extra protections earlier.

It will fix itself over the next hour or so, but if you clear your cache now then it will go back to normal immediately.

Hi all...

We were having some server issues. We manually turn these protections on sometimes when we're looking to smooth out traffic to the servers.

There is nothing nefarious going on - just us doing standard server maintenance and making sure things are running as smoothly as they can.
