Why is the Style forum bullying me?

I'm trying to post some amusing links about very revealing dresses in the Style/Fashion forum. The title incorporated a question mark. Then there were links, and I typed in the names of the women.

1.First the site fought back and refused to post without "options" - apparently the question mark upset the system.
2.Then I was supposed to choose a duration. No idea why.

What's going on?

What do you mean? Links to women wearing very revealing dresses?

ToastSoldiers · 08/04/2026 03:36

A duration? Who is bullying you?

Overtheatlantic · 08/04/2026 03:45

Perhaps it’s questioning whether it’s a legitimate post, and I’m actually wondering that myself.

where is the bullying?

Morning @MsAmerica

Could you explain a bit further what's happening here? Or perhaps post a screenshot to show us so we can see what you're seeing?

If the threads are about revealing dresses and have 'revealing' images they may have not posted until they've been approved? We're not sure what the 'duration' issue and links problems are but we might be able to help if we can find out a bit more.

If you like, hit the report button on your post above and we can chat to you off the boards and you can show us what you're trying to post. That might be the easiest way.

I had been looking at an article about the possible "trend" (of course, not really a trend) of dresses that are almost totally revealing.

I was titling it "Naked dresses?" and was going to post this:

Bianca Censori

The first odd thing was that there was a pop-up demanding I list options, as if the question mark meant I needed to provide choices.

The second odd thing is that it required a duration (I think it was a maximum of 7 days), as if it were a contest or a poll. I don't know if maybe this was also triggered by the question mark. But I really wanted the question mark, because if the title were just "Naked dresses" I figured posters would immediately just be arguing that they weren't really naked.

It's not hugely important, just puzzling.
