Why are my adverts in a foreign language?

Are you using a VPN? If so you might appear to the internet to be in another country and that’s prompting the foreign language ads. Or it might just be one of the many weird glitches you get when you use Mumsnet.

Have you been abroad recently? I find it normally takes a couple of weeks to stop getting foreign language ads if I've used my laptop abroad.

No not been abroad for over a year and no vpn! It comes and goes.

Yeah I get them in what I think are German and Dutch sometimes. They're less annoying than the English ones somehow.

Mine are all Italian and German and have been for about a year.

A shame really, as sometimes they look quite interesting 😅
